Last Updated: October 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Kakumei ("we," "our," or "the Company") collects, uses, and protects personal information of users ("Users") of our applications ("the App").
1. Definitions
"Personal Information" refers to information about a living individual that can identify a specific individual (including information that can identify a specific individual when combined with other information).
"Personal Data" refers to personal data as defined by applicable data protection laws.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to personal information collected in connection with the use of the App.
3. Controller
The controller of personal information for the App is as follows:
4. Collection Methods, Information Collected, Purposes of Use, and Legal Basis
We collect personal information through the following methods. The information collected, purposes of use, and legal basis are as follows:
(1) Information Directly Provided by Users
- Information obtained through contact forms (name, email address, inquiry content, etc.)
- Purpose of use: Responding to inquiries, providing and improving services
- Legal basis: Contract performance, legitimate interests
(2) Information Automatically Collected When Users Use the App
- Access log information (IP address, browser type, access date and time, etc.)
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies
- Purpose of use: Operating and improving the App, ensuring security
- Legal basis: Legitimate interests
(3) Advertising
Apps that show ads do so through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To show and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect the advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device type, OS version, approximate location, and ad view and tap history. This information is handled under Google's privacy policy.
- Purpose of use: Serving ads, measuring ad performance, preventing fraud
- Legal basis: Consent (tracking permission and the consent form), legitimate interests
- To learn how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
- The IDFA is collected only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency dialog. If you do not, ads are still shown but are not based on your interests. You can change this at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone.
- Users in the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and similar regions are shown a consent form before ads. You can change your choice at any time from "広告のプライバシー設定" (Ad privacy settings) in the app's Settings.
(4) Information Stored Only on Your Device
- Data and settings you enter or record in the App are, as a rule, stored only on your device, and we do not collect them. If a feature requires sending data to a server, we will tell you in the App or in this Policy
- Data on your device is removed when you delete the App (except where it is included in your device backups)
5. Third-Party Provision
We will not provide personal information to third parties without the user's consent, except in the following cases:
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the user's consent
- When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting the healthy upbringing of children
For apps that show ads, information collected by the ad provider is described in Section 4 (3). We choose providers of external services used in the App that apply protections equal to or greater than those in this Policy.
6. Security Measures
We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage.
